The DOCG (i.e. Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin, the highest classification for quality Italian wines) Cesanese del Piglio, with its ruby-red colour and intense taste, is the most ancient Ciociaria local wine and will be the leitmotiv of this itinerary going through the sweet hills of upper Ciociaria. We offer you excursions in the medieval villages dedicated to good food thanks to the extraordinary number of delicacies available as well as a winery tour along with the oenologists of the “Cesanese Wine Route”..
